Cancellation Policy

When you make a booking with us, you are taking a conscious decision to set aside some time for yourself. At mbconnect, we understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and plans may need to be altered. At mbconnect we have a cancellation policy that requires a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations.

You can cancel your appointment by either calling our main line or sending an SMS. Before your appointment, you'll receive a reminder via SMS and/or email. You can opt out of these reminders at any time, but please note that the 24-hour notice period still applies, and you are required to adhere to our cancellation policy.

Cancelling your appointment within 24 hours will incur a $50 cancellation fee.

This will be sent to your email as an invoice and is required to be paid before you can access any further services.

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the counseling services provided by mbconnect. By engaging in our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Informed Consent

Informed consent is the process in which a healthcare provider educates a patient about the risks, benefits, and alternatives of a given procedure or intervention. You must be competent to make a voluntary decision about whether to undergo the procedure or intervention. You must be at least 16 years of age to provide informed consent and access our services. If you are under 16, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian.

Fees

You are responsible for paying the fees for our services. Fees must be in full once your session has concluded. The full fee will be explained to you before you participate in the service. We accept cash, online and card payments. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHEQUE payments. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. If you do not provide 24 hours' notice, you may be charged a cancellation fee (see below).

Confidentiality

We take your privacy very seriously. All information you provide during a session will be kept confidential, except as required by law or as necessary to protect your safety or the safety of others. This will be explained in your initial assessment. All records are kept secure and all sensitive data is handled with care.

Termination of Services

You have the right to terminate any service at any time. On termination of services, you must pay any outstanding fees. We also reserve the right to terminate services if we believe it is in your best interest or if you are not adhering to these Terms. Reasons for us to terminate the services include but are not limited to abusive/inappropriate behaviour, unpaid fees (including cancellation fees), aggressive behaviour or damages to business. Regardless of who terminates the service, you must pay all outstanding fees.

Marketing and Communications

By signing up for our newsletter you agree to any marketing or communications via email. By engaging in our services you may also receive marketing via SMS. You can opt-out at any time by replying to the communication, SMS, email, call or face-to-face acknowledgement.

Limitation of Liability

We will use our best efforts to provide effective services to the best of our abilities, but we cannot guarantee any specific outcomes. We will not be liable for any damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Changes to Terms

Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Terms on our website.

By engaging in services with mbconnect, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
